The concept for this video came from thoughts about how I could showcase our beautiful country in the space of about three minutes. My crazy idea was to have the traditional owners of this land take the young tourist on a magical trip around our country, without her parents even realising she’s gone.

Sometimes the creative ideas in my head get beyond what I can achieve with a camera, lens and a Mac – but I think I came pretty close with this edit.

I wanted it to feel as though magic was being used to show this young girl what a striking country we live in. Troy’s words laid a beautiful foundation for all of these creative ideas. Using a green screen I was able to bring my ideas to life.
