I really love collaborating with Sara Storer. Her songs seem to open up endless creative ideas for me, and I consider myself very lucky to have been given the chance to work with her on so many occasions.

One of the first ideas I had for this video was to turn John Williamson (AKA Old Man Emu) into an old, scruffy looking emu. I immediately turned to my talented friend, Judy Nadin, to help me achieve my vision through the aid of hand drawn animation.

Partly filmed on a river near Albury, with the rest put together in front of computer screens, Canoe literally came to life frame by frame.
